Our brides took the word “flowers” out of “bouquet of fresh flowers” and replaced it with anything from brooches to sea shells. Their decision was not only a bold move but it made a bold & unique statement.

First Look Initially {like five years ago}, I thought seeing your sweetheart before you made your way to the altar was the worst idea ever, until I realized the benefits. No really, they’re a lot of benefits of doing the first look. Some of the benefits of doing the first look include:

  • More time to spend with your guests during the cocktail hour instead of taking pictures the whole time.
  • This will save you a lot of time with taking pictures after the ceremony; especially, If you have a large bridal party & family.
  • This will allow you to add another memorable moment to your day.
  • You both will have a moment alone to admire how handsome/beautiful you both will look with no distract ions.

Taking Shots The bouquet and garter toss was not a part of one of our couples’ wedding day itinerary. This couple tossed this idea out the window and instead they took shots with their guest to the song “Shots, Shots, Shots, by Little John!” This was a first for my team & me, but I must admit their guests LOVED it! The couple decided to do this because this was not their first time {or second, or third} time down the aisle to the altar.
