Kennedy Space Center Wedding
Ashley & Bryce’s Kennedy Space Center Wedding was perfect as they wanted a venue that would complement their love for their love of all things out of space. Their Kennedy Space Center Wedding ceremony and reception were at at the Debus Facility, next to the Rocket Garden. The banquet space was filled with 100 of their friends & family.
The couple hired us to manage, style and coordinate their wedding rehearsal and their wedding day. The team of vendors pulled up to their loading dock at 3:00 PM to transform the ballroom into what the couple envisioned it to be. Around 5:00 PM a white stretch limo arrived with the bride and her bridesmaids fully dressed as the venue did not have a bridal suite. Shortly after. The groom and his guys arrived shortly after. The couple did an epic first look inside the rocket garden and then waited inside a holding room for the ceremony to start. The holding room & the ceremony location was separated by an airwall, which meant communication was at a minimum.
Around 6:30 PM their guests started to arrive. Our goal was for their guests to feel welcomed and informed, so we positioned one of our team members stood by the entrance of the park to welcome the guest and direct them to the ceremony location as it would have been overwhelming to find it on their own. Another one of our team members stood by the Rocket Garden to point the guests to the Debus hall. The floor to ceiling windows inside the Debus Hall allowed for their backdrop to be of the Rocket Garden, which called for very little decor. The cocktail hour was simply perfect inside the Moonscape/Rocket Garden with five hi-boy cocktail tables. Their guests enjoyed delicious appetizers and refreshing drinks from their open bar while the bridal party went around the park to take post-ceremony pictures. The couple decided to have a buffet for dinner. It was perfectly placed inside the ballroom which made it convenient for their guests.
The night ended with their wedding guests using glowsticks to wave while the couple ran through the aisle to get to their limo.
