Casa Feliz wedding venue

Casa Feliz wedding venue is an amazing location to say “i do” and lock lips at. But first, let me start of by saying how Awesome. Dope. RAD you are! Your wedding is going to be awesome & truly different as well. This two story brick house with blue shutters was beautifully restored since it was first built in the early 1900’s. The heavy timber balcony detailed in colors of the Mediterranean… lush landscaping–courtyards…arched doorways–a circular staircase and sweeping oaks will create the perfect backdrop for your photographer to capture you and you loved ones. Case Feliz {the happy house} is a historic Spanish farmhouse that boast of so much rich history and culture. Case Feliz wedding venue has so much character and charm.

7 tips + ideas for planning your big day at Casa Feliz wedding venue

#1…guest count

Casa Feliz wedding venue is an ideal location for an intimate event. Try your very best to keep your guest list under 75 if you want for you and your guests to experience the beauty of the intimate space of the venue. We planned a few weddings there that went above that magic number had to split up their guests during dinner & seating them in separate rooms. With a lower guest count, you will be able to use the different rooms inside this historic Spanish mansion for the bar, buffet/action stations, ceremony, lounge area, photo booth area and more.

#2…parking

The parking lot at Casa Feliz wedding venue has about 5 dedicated parking spots, but don’t fret my pet {who says that anymore, yep I do?!}, your guests can park along Park Ave. or at the Christian Science Church their overflow spot pending this church does not have an event there that day. A few weddings we did there hired a shuttle bus from a transportation company to pick up and drop off their guests who all stayed at the Alfond Inn and the Grand Bohemian. This my friend was by far perfect and convenient as this was a destination wedding for them.

#3…catering

Sorry to inform you, no outside catering or bartenders allowed at Casa Feliz wedding venue, but rest assure that Arthur’s catering  {the required caterer for this venue }will take your dining experience to another level, as they are one of the best catering companies ever! You’re going to love them, their staff, the service, and most importantly the food. Please, get their flaming donut or s’mores station & seafood paella, your wedding will go down in the best wedding food hall of fame.

#4…wedding coordinator

Yessssss, you should definitely hire a wedding coordinator if you’re not going to hire a wedding planner {no, I did not make a typo.} This person should be able to keep you organized on your wedding day, welcome your vendors, set up your personal decor items…facitlitate + coordinate your rehearsal and a lot more so you and your guests can have fun!

#5…bridal suite & groom’s room

If you have a large bridal squad, you may want to have the lads get ready offsite and just arrive in time to take pre-ceremony photos.  If you have less than 6 bridesmaids & 6 groomsmen, then you will be fine with your ladies getting ready in their suite which by the way has a private bathroom + a full length mirror. The lads on the other hand should come fully dressed if not partially dressed with their shoes, and wedding slacks on and maybe a t-shirt as this room is a little tight and more bodies means sweaty guys.

#6…dancing

You and your guests can dance the night away inside the Main room! Because Casa Feliz wedding venue is located inside a residential area, they have a noise ordinance, this means the cops can come and shut your party down if they receive to many complaints. The great news is, Casa Feliz has a preferred list of DJ’s who knows the rules and also knows how to keep the dance floor popping.

#7…décor & lighting

Considering this venue has very nice artwork, furniture and decor already there in place, not much is needed to make this space beautiful. We definitely encourage wedding signs {i.e. welcome to our wedding, powder rooms this way, schedule of events.} There are so many cute spots to style your personal décor items like pics of you and the love of your life, floral arrangements, your desserts and so forth. You will need lighting, once again, you will need lighting if you’re planning to eat on the exterior courtyard/logia.
